"Invisible."

Appointment was for 12 pm. I sat there for 15 minutes before going back to unhelpful reception after hearing my name mentioned a few times, I was told they were looking into it. At nearly 12.30 pm I had had enough. Returned to reception to tell them I was leaving. I was told the person I should have seen was not there someone else was coming down to see me. He came down as I was going to walk out. Why couldn't they have come to inform me about what was happening? No training? Or just couldn't care less? So the person I saw wasn't a doctor, had no idea about my mental health problems and it was a waste of time. This after waiting 3 years for an appointment! And when do I actually get to see a doctor? Could be months.

We are sorry that this was your experience of our Northcroft service. Our staff should update you if there is any delay to your appointment. Our teams comprise a mixture of staff and it isn’t just our doctors who help with assessments but could be nurses, occupational therapists or psychologists. It would be really helpful if our Customer Relations team could look into this and ensure that we can see you again. If you could call on 0800 953 0045 they will be able to take your details and investigate.
