I was admitted to the Queen Victoria Hospital on 30th August 2017 for urgent face and neck surgery to be carried out the following day in a six-hour procedure under general anaesthetic.
From the moment I was admitted until I left the hospital 7 days later, I was treated with respect, absolute professionalism and care that could not be bettered anywhere.
Staff on the Ross Tilley Ward all introduced themselves by name, were attentive and compassionate, as well as good-humoured and pleasant throughout my stay.
My Consultant and their team were all fantastic.
All-in-all, I could not have been treated better.
I was treated as an individual and not just a number on a sheet.
I would like to congratulate all the staff at Queen Victoria.
"What a Marvellous Hospital"
