My partner was brought into pinders a&e with increased back pain due to a chronic issue. Staff acted as though it was just back pain and told him he needed to walk. Yet he had not been seen by a dr, so how can you mobilise a patient who cannot move because of the pain with out making any attempt to investigate the cause. The attitudes of the staff were unacceptable, and could be heard discussing my partner at the nurses station, saying he wasnt poorly and just had a bit of pain and that he just needed to get up. This is unacceptable behaviour from nhs staff. Also once we were put in the cubicle no-one once asked him if he was was ok and if he needed any extra analgesics when they were due. I am ashamed to say i work for this trust and ashamed that staff give this care to people. I know a&e is a busy department but there is no need to be rude and unprofessional
