You know when you’re just having a really bad day and it’s just worse and worse?
Well, I was having one of those.
I was pretty late for my Dermatology appointment as I had mixed my times up due to having so many appointments that week.
I could have sworn I had a text to say 12:50pm but my appointment was actually at 12:15pm, which I realised when I looked at my letter in the car on the way there.
I rang ahead and spoke to a lovely person on the phone who could not be more helpful.
They spoke to the doctor who said to get there as soon as I could and they would either squeeze me in when they could, or would see me at the end of their surgery.
I finally got there, flustered and apologetic.
The receptionist knew I was on my way as their colleague had told them beforehand.
They smiled at me and told me to take a seat which saved me the embarrassment of being told off for being late, which is the absolute to worst.
I waited for about 5 minutes and the Nurse came out to get me. I apologised for being late again and they were just so lovely.
I saw the doctor and they were really good too.
They really reassured me that there are a few options to try for my condition.
Thank you so much for your help and courtesy that day.
You guys do such a great job in the Dermatology department and I am very grateful to you.
Ps. Sorry for being that patient ?
"Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Thank you :)"
