"Occupational Therapist has given us all a confidence boost"

I wanted to thank our occupational therapist Donna. She has been coming to our house for a while now to help my dad who has had a difficult year having been in hospital 11 times, most recently with a broken hip. Donna has got things for our house to make things easier for dad such as things for his chair, hings for the wash basin, a commode, she's even got us an electric bed. She's really dedicated to her job and even gave us her phone number so that if we have any problems we can get in touch. I want to give praise when it's sure as I don't think people do that enough anymore.

She comes round and she sits with my dad and asks about how his day is. He is now able to walk around the bungalow which is amazing because at one point I didn't think he would come out of hospital. She's also photocopied us some physio exercises that I can do with my dad. She's done a really lovely job and the new bed is great because I can now help my dad get in and out of bed a lot easier.

She's given us all a big confidence boost, and we don't know what we would have done without her. Donna has done us so proud and she's a real joy to have round, she brightens the place. So I just really wanted to pass on my thanks.
