On 27th June 2017 I had an Ankle Arthroscopic Debridement. On 3rd August I returned for a check up with the Orthopedic team in the Fracture Clinc. Having only just come off of crutches at this point I could not walk very far without being in severe pain. Unfortunately, as usual, the only car park with spaces available was car park 3 (the opposite side of the hospital to the fracture clinc). So as I was on my own, although I do not have a blue badge I had to park in the disabled car park. This led to me being given a ticket within minutes of leaving the car. I tried to appeal the ticket with First Parking and just received a reply stating that the appeal was rejected and they were raising the fine to £50. Now only 5 weeks since the ticket I have had a letter from a debt collector stating the ticket cost has risen to £160!!!! There is no one in the world that would choose to need to go to hospital!
The way First Parking are treating your patients is disgusting.
"First Parking!"
