About: Colchester General Hospital / Urology

i arrived at 07.00 on my two crutches with two bags to a receptionist in elective care who had a face like a wet weekend at 08.00 a hour later i see my consultant who is obviously in a rush, so much so they did not have a room set aside for us, and never once offered to help me with my bag or cpap machine after agreeing to do my op by sedation they ask that my blood sugar and blood pressure be taken every two hours this was taken once more by the nurse in ten hours i was there waiting for my op which i was told by my consultant would be around diner time, while in the care of the ward nurse my white wristband had to be changed to a red one (lucky pulled them up on that)secondly i waited six hours before any stockings were put on and during the day at 11 o'clock im given a lemon pre op drink which is to be given two hours before op which at five o clock got cancelled a operation i had already waited nine months for of course once the nurse found that out they and other staff could not do enough for me so after 10hrs in a situation that as made me ill it then takes over a hour to sort me transport home for which i payed for yes i was ask to sent a copy of the cab receipt but it weren't worth the extra work as for my consultant excuse their first operation had over a hours wait for blood results now me i would have started the second op straight away and after gone back to the first also because my operation was going to take around two hours they suddenly managed to get an extra two patients done so the day did not look like a wright off, never mind that the consultant had a very sick patient waiting all day to be seen urology is a disgrace at colchester hospital even when they give appointments they never never never get anywhere near the appointment time in fact they are between a 1--2 hrs later so why call it a appointment in the first place you are a disgrace to the national health colchester hospital and you are not getting any better and lastly please please dont apologise or use the words sorry it is never truly meant it is just a word to cover over another excuse
