My father in law came home 4 days ago. I was told he was not incontinent but he is. Although he has carers he was not assessed in hospital and given pads to come home with.
I have been left with loads of extra washing, no pads and the district nurse telling me he can't have any until he's assessed.
I work and cannot be at an assessment. He is also very confused and I have had to call the doctor to get a dementia assessment.
These things should have been done before he left hospital.
