I was in today for a fairly small op.
The staff were friendly until I heard an argument which was quite embarrassing for the poor person in the bed next to me.
This should not happen between nurses while patients are around !!
It brings such upset and worry about our own after care.
However my gynea was amazing and the aneathitist was one of the best I have ever had!
Just wanted to send a special thanks to them and the staff in the op theatre !
Also to the person that was with me when I woke up!!
What a gem !!
Thank you.
Just one other thing , I was in agony on way home but was refused even paracetamol on the ward when I asked
I ended up vomiting from the pain. I find that so u acceptable and so unfair to be told to wait until I am home to take my own paracetamol ....
very upsetting on the ward .
And only received water 20 mins before going home after a nurse told me they were bringing me some.
