Great staff

I'm 5 months pregnant and have been using the QE for my pregnancy, I have complications so have been under a consultant from very early in in preg. I would like to praise all staff working in all departments i have used from the nurses, sognographers, doctors midwives consultant's, surgeons, anaesthetists.

Across the board the care I have received has been fantastic, they are caring and thorough with plans and actions and competent in their abilities.

They take what you say seriously, listen to your problems and complaints and try to look after your best interests. They are under tremendous pressure daily with the enormous workloads and never ending patients but they make you feel like they are there to take care of you!!

Over the years I've used this hospital dating back to 2001 when it opened and I have to say that the quality of care you receive now out does previous years , with the exception of some long standing consultants and midwives, nurses who are amazing.

I could have easily lost my baby this week without the intervention of some great consultants and fantastic surgical team , and went out of my mind without the care given by the lovely kind and caring midwives who are obviously there because they love their jobs , in previous years some of the midwives were unkind rude and awful.

I would recommend this hospital to anyone having a baby.

I would also like to say that being grateful and polite and a decent person is not hard and these hard working people who are ultimately doing all they can for you deserve the upmost respect.
