"Experienced a myocardial infarction"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Cardiology

I have recently experienced a myocardial infarction and received lots of support from the NHS. I would like to thank the consultant and their fantastic team who performed two operations on myself, throughout both operations they made me so relaxed and reassured me throughout. Both operations undoubted saved my life, without their professionalism and dedication these GREAT people save and change people's lives on a daily basis.

Throughout my whole experience the NHS/Sunderland district hospital has been nothing but OUTSTANDING, in particular the cardiology department.

Having had these life saving operations, my life with my young family is so precious and every day is so special. Also with the help of the cardio rehabilitation team I have recently completed the Great North run 2017 which without everyone's help wouldn't not have been achieved.

Could you please pass my thanks on to all involved.
