"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!"

I went for a consultation at Holly House Hospital with an urologist .

.I explained what my problem is and the urologist said they can do my procedure at Spire Roding Hospital.I have a stent on my left kidney for more than 6 weeks and multiple stones. The urologist told me the price will be between 3000-4000 £ .

I was ok with that as I am in pain , I was willing to accept that and booked the procedure on Saturday 2nd of September

.On Friday , just before the operation I received at home a letter with the pricing saying that the price is 4700£ and in this was not included the anesthetic, any other blood tests or other consultation with the doctor .

I called them and said I am not happy with the price and said its not their fault as the doctor fixed the price and there is nothing that they can do.

I told them that I have to cancel the procedure. 20 minutes later I received a phone call saying that it was an error and is not the doctor's fault the price is 3300£. I said I can't accept this because they haven't been serious from the beginning and how can I trust the doctor after the price dropped down so much .

2 days later a member of staff called me saying that if I am still interested in the procedure they are willing to offer me a discount of 5% of this 3300£ and the new price will be 3100£.

I told them I have to think about this and call back.Today 11th of September being fed up with the pain and NHS gave me in November a date I decided to call. The member of staff said they have to discuss with their principle about the price and let me know.

I told the member of staff how can you fix another price when I am willing to accept your offer of 3100£. Because I am in pain and they know I have no option than to do this procedure they put the price up again , the new price was 3900£.

At the beginning I was ok because like I said I had no option and they were telling me I was going to have everything included in this 3900£

In the meantime I called twice urologist's secretary to book the procedure and they didn't answer . After 5 minutes the member of staff from Spire is calling me again that they made a mistake, that they had a different piece of paper in front of them when they gave me the quote and the price for the procedure is actually 4600£ . Obviously I did not accept this because they are playing with people .

As I said they take advantage of you and put the price after your pain. No dignity, no respect , no empathy... I had to go through a lot of stress and pain because of them .Think twice before you go to this hospital.
