About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

We are so fortunate to have this hospital - i had been told by a consultant surgeon it was a centre of excellence - and it is!

I have been a regular outpatient at 4 different clinics/departments over the last 3years and the standard of care and cleanliness is in my opinion amazing. Always someone going around cleanig & polishing etc and i have visited during various times of the day.

Yes, sometimes clinics run late but what is a few hours wait compared to having no care at all?

To anyone concerned about having angiogram/cardio procedures here i would say that from the time i was greeted by the nurse who would care for me, all the staff were really lovely, felt i was in safe hands. Sandwiches,biscuits and a welcome cuppa all brought to me by nurses smiling despite this busy section of the hosp.
