We had planned a very different birth to the one we experienced and hadn't planned to come to the hospital at all, however, after waking up with complications at 40+ weeks, I was advised to go straight to the hospital to be monitored. When I arrived, the staff were very calm and helpful. The midwife who examined me took their time to explain everything to me and to make me feel comfortable with what was happening. I was then sent straight to labour ward where the midwives and support staff were incredible. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was so scared when we got to the hospital, but they calmed me down, supported my husband and I throughout labour, and made the experience more relaxed and comfortable than I thought possible! When I was worried that I didn't know what to do, the midwives gave me the strength and confidence to carry on. They asked me what I wanted and kept me informed of everything they were doing at all times. They really are super humans there...I can't praise them highly enough. Thank you
"Amazing staff and care"
