About: Southport & Formby District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

Taken by emergency ambulance mid day with chest pain left on trolley in corridor for at least an hour before seeing triage nurse. Taken to cubicles to be seen by nurses and eventually a doctor. Spent 6 hours here sitting on a hard trolley bed. Had to sit on chair as my bum was getting sore. My daughter had to go and find me a pillow to sit on. Was eventually taken to a ward to await another blood test. To my horror the ladies toilet wasn't working. Blood tests came back the doctor couldn't be bothered to come to the bed side to explain just shouted across from the door they wanted me to stay in. No chance. Discharged myself. 13 hours spent here 1 sandwich and only water to drink. Never again.
