"A very scary few days made all the better by staff"

About: Good Hope Hospital

(as the patient),

I want to thank the nurses of ITU/HDU at Good Hope in Sutton Coldfield. I was taken to them and intubated after deteriorating rapidly with Pneumonia. It was a very frightening time for myself and my family and I was uncomfortable for much of it.

The nurses took great care of me, making sure I had what I needed, helping to make me as comfortable as possible and most importantly helping me feel like a human being!

By the time I left I actually missed the place a bit! It was a really friendly and calming atmosphere and I'm confident I can attribute part of my very speedy recovery to the work of the nurses.
