"Materiny at Hillingdon is terrible"

About: Hillingdon Hospital / Maternity

I would never recommend to anyone having a baby at this hospital I've been messed around from get go with the wrong information from the staff to not booking my appointments when I've been told They were booked, been booked in for EVC where was starved all day and was booked in at 11am and didn't get seen till the evening. I was told before I had previous appointments booked in with the doctors they were booked I then had to wait hours till one came avaible. The lack of communication and organisation is terrible. It's under staffed and not big enough for the amount of people coming in and out. I was also told my baby wasn't breach but I had a feeling it was asked them to check again and it was breech if I had not asked they would of even checked. You can never get hold of anyone on the phones and they give you all these numbers to call no one ever answers or you get voice mail. I've had to drive to the hospital to sort stuff before. This hospital has stressed me out throughout my pregnancy I will not be coming here to have another child again. Literally one of the worst. & ive not even gone into everything.

I can only apologise on behalf of the Maternity department, if you feel that we have added stress to your pregnancy or you feel that the care you received was not to a sufficient standard. We strive to provide the best possible care for all of our clients at Hillingdon. Our friends and family survey demonstrates that 99% of our clients would recommend the service, following care here. Please contact us via our PALS department at thh-tr.pals@nhs.net

so that we can discuss your concerns further which in turn will improve our women’s experience.
