It really seems like the 0203 number does not have anyone on the other line?

leaving messages for a call back does not suit me as I am at work during your opening hours and therefore have limited time when I can pick up.

We are sorry you had a difficult experience in trying to get through to iCope.

We also appreciate that leaving messages is not necessarily an option given your work schedule.

iCope is an extremely busy service and if you cannot get through, it means our administrators are dealing with other patients.

We agree, it can be frustrating not being able to get through, but would encourage people to leave messages – maybe with a request to call back at a certain time.

Our administrators regularly listen to the messages throughout the working day and would be happy to respond to such a request. If you are looking to self-refer you can do this via our website www.icope.nhs.uk or for other messages you can email us cim-tr.icope@nhs.net

In the meantime, please be assured that we are always working towards improving our systems.
