"Never come here"

Beyond appalling service. If it was possible to give zero *, I would. There is complete lack of initiative and communication between staff upstairs and the lab making the glasses. 1)They gave me a date 2 weeks after my eye check up to come pick up my glasses which is normal for some places in UK but I have certainly had same day service before in Vision express. 2) On the appointed date, just less than an hour before my appointment while I was already en route, I get a call to say that my glasses were not ready because the frames and lenses had not arrived in store-surely they would have known this a few days before and could have told me in advance saving me a journey. When asked when it would be ready, they said just call back the next couple of days to check, I mean seriously?! 3) On calling a few days later to ask if it was ready, they say oh the frames are in but didn't someone ring you to ask you to come in to have a measurement to ensure your special thin lenses fit-what if I hadn't ever rang, would they have actually chased up 4) I go to get measure the same evening (Thurs) to get measured- the measurements they took were the same as when I did my eye test and ordered the glasses which makes me wonder if someone just lost my measurements somehow. They then say it will definitely be ready the end of the week. So on Sun, I go in to collect and it turns out its not ready and I was told apparently no lab staff have been around due to the Bank Holiday. 5) I ring on Wed and they tell me its definitely ready and I can collect it intermediately. 6) I don't have time so I go in to collect on Thursday instead and I wait for 15mins before asking staff what is happening who then spend the next 15mins looking for these glasses which clearly are not ready but they finally say it seems to have gone missing. 5) Eventually, some more senior staff decides that best solution is to put a new order through and gives me an appointment for the following Friday to pick it up. 6) on Saturday I get a text saying that my glasses are ready to pick up, so I ring to make an appointment to come in on Sunday but was told collections can't be done on a Sunday-seriously??? Anyway I make an appointment for Monday 2.30. 7) I get there today at 2.30 expecting to just go in and on in 5 mins, 10 mins later no one has come back to me after I had given in my receipt. So I go and ask, 5 mins later, they come back and say its not actually ready and the lab is working on it at that very minute!!!!! Needless to say I will never ever be coming back here.
