I was referred to Ormskirk Hospital Respiratory out-patients for examination of long standing lung ailment. Within two minutes of arriving I was seen by staff for BP/height/weight check, then immediately given an ECG test, then immediately sent to the nearby dept. for a chest x-ray. I waited there for less than five minutes, and when I arrived back at out-patients the doctor was actually waiting for me at the consulting room door.
I was then involved in a detailed discussion with them, totally unhurried, for at least 30 minutes.
Following up I had a CT scan a few weeks later when again the service was excellent. I have since been given what I consider prompt appointments for an Echocardiogram and physiotherapy.
Every person I have had contact with has been courteous, friendly, caring, and helpful. I did thank them all personally, but it's right that I put it in writing.
(The webpage isn't allowing me to select the Department I attended, hence included in my comments)
