"Having a mouth biopsy"

Original appointment wasn't overly great. The HCSW didn't make me feel at ease. The receptionist was not that communicative either as they were chatting to a member of their family.

However the actual biopsy could not have gone better. The waiting room was packed and I felt that we would be late going in, but no.

The ladies informed us that there were 6 clinics that day. The surgeon was friendly informative and very smiley. The other two ladies made me feel at ease and I felt they all knew exactly what they were doing.

As a midwife I am used to giving treatment and rarely on the other end. These three lovely ladies made me feel safe, listened to and the whole experience went without a hitch. Well done ladies.
