"Treatment at A&E today"

I was very impressed with the efficient treatment I received at Kingston Hospital A&E department today. The reception was efficient with only a short wait prior to preliminary tests by a nurse and seeing a very calm and professional doctor who organised pain killers prior to an examination and X-rays. The porter who took me to X-ray asked if I wanted a blanket and was polite and considerate. The X-ray technician explained what they needed to do and the nurse made sure I was comfortable and had water. The doctor then made their diagnosis and explained how to cope with the pain and how to manage moving around. I was given crutches and the nurse demonstrated how to use them. The ward was spotless and I saw a cleaner cleaning cubicles after patients had vacated then. The NHS at its very best. Thank you.
