"Urgent Hysterectomy Due To Possible Malignant..."

I was admitted via my GP for suspected appendicitis and the above condition was diagnosed following an emergency laparoscopy. Without exception every member of staff treated me professionally and with total respect.

After diagnosis I was placed on a two week wait basis for surgery. Everything was explained to me prior to the operation and the pre op team did everything to put me at ease as much as possible.

Post op care on the ward was superb. Everybody knows how under pressure the NHS is but when you are actually there you really do see it with your own eyes.The nursing staff work relentlessly hard.

A big thank you to every one at Milton Keynes hospital, from the cleaners, consultants, doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, X-Ray team, ultrasound team and pharmacy. You all do a fabulous job and I shall be forever grateful.
