"Unable to get appointments at my GP"

About: Sefton PCT

(as the patient),

Trying to make an appointment with my doctors surgery is very difficult. Procedure is: phone surgery at 8.30am, however can't get answer, engaged, continue calling until phone answered, by this time no appointments left, next available is for over two weeks time.

I feel this is unacceptable and would like to see an improvement. This is an on going problem and not isolated incident.
