"Mental Health Failure"

About: St John's Hospital / Adult Mental Health

(as the patient),

I have suffered from severe depression and anxiety for many years. I have been referred to psychiatrists but only a one off appointment which does not help. I waited six months for an appointment and recently went to St. John's to see a psychiatrist.

They asked how I was and if I had suicidal thoughts. I told them I did and they said they were moving on and couldn't really get into anything with me. Total time in their office 10 mins and nothing achieved and nothing done. Complete failure and completely left me feeling worse.

I feel rejected and totally lost and I am tired of being ignored and nothing being done.
