"Poor mental health ignored by professionals"

It is currently August and I have not seen or heard from anyone from my local cmht since January. Ive tried ringing them and asking for an appointment urgently only to ignored by them. The last time I even saw a psychiatrist they refused to change my meds and advised I drink warm milk to help with suicidal thoughts. At the end of my tether and feeling completely hopeless I went to see my GP to see if anything could be done only to be told they're powerless to do anything/prescribe anything at all to help me. It just makes me wonder what I actually have to do to get any help at all, I'm completely alone and hopeless and I don't have anywhere to turn or anyone to help
