"New Cross Hospital"

About: New Cross Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Failed to follow their own care plan.

Very poor communication.

‘Fast track’ CT took 8 days, in which time I had to stay as an inpatient to ‘guarantee a bed’. Results took a further 2 weeks and I also was asked to be an inpatient for this time. Effectively they had me block a bed for 3 weeks.

Consultant requested tests not administered.

Ward not cleaned (1 day).

Dietary requirements ignored.

Acquired hospital based sickness twice.

Staff spent an astonishing amount of time blowing hot air gossiping about their personal lives.

Appalling. Totally dysfunctional. Avoid if at all possible. Request to go to Stoke or QE, I’ve been in both & they’re a lot better.
