It was with a great deal of nervousness that I attended for a routine cholecystectomy on the 14th August. What an amazing experience, the care and attention I received was second to none, private care could not have exceeded it. The staff were wonderful from the Consultant to the ward cleaner. There are so many criticisms of our NHS but I didn't have a single fault only praise. I must mention the staff nurse, and a ward assistant on at night as being exceptional people although everyone I came into contact with were excellent and I will recommend the day surgery department at Gloucester Royal to everyone. Please thank them all for my amazing care. They are a credit to the hospital.
