Brought my son into Heartlands Childrens ward 14 first thing this morning to have a blood test, my son has a needle phobia & the staff in here were fantastic with him, they did everything to put him at ease & get the job done, I'd like to pass on my thanks to Sam & the other nurse, I am very grateful to them.

Thank you for your lovely comments regarding the Team on Children's Ward 14 at Heartlands Hospital.

I'm so pleased to read that you felt the staff were fantastic with your son who has a needle phobia, and that everything was done to put your son at ease but also to obtain a blood sample without causing him any distress.

I will be delighted to ensure that your feedback is highlighted to the Ward Manager for Ward 14, as well as the Matron for Children's Services who I'm sure will both be thrilled to read your comments and ensure it is highlighted to Sam who you have named, as well as all of the team who work very hard to look after our young patients!

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your comments, patient and family feedback is very important to us.
