"Orthopaedics at Cramlington Hospital. Outstanding!"

I was admitted through A & E on the 6th August with fractures to my right tibia and fibula. They were absolutely brilliant!!! I was admitted to ward 1, bed 19 in the safe hands of the porters who were truly kind and considerate. I received excellent treatment and would like to express my gratitude.

To all the Healthcare professionals / assistants who made me feel safe, who attended to my every need I would like to say Thank you!

The injuries I sustained required surgery, and a metal plate was internally fixed., I would like to say that I am truly grateful to the NHS, the consultant and the whole team of surgeons / assistants and everyone involved in my care who allowed this to happen so promptly.

I would especially like to thank all the staff who worked on pod 3 while I was bed bound.

I would also like to mention that the menu in this place is fantastic, there are at least 10 choices of a main meal!The service was second to none! The staff on my pod went above and beyond to assist me and for that I am truly grateful!

I would also like to thank the trauma clinic for applying my cast and the physiotherapist who provided me with a walking device, crutches etc for home.

I would also like to thank a lovely healthcare assistant who I spoke to yesterday afternoon (18th August) this healthcare assistant took time to listen to my concerns and passed me over to a Sister who was brilliant. I would like to express how grateful I am to the Sister for their help and advice. I have had my cast replaced this morning at cramlington trauma clinic, and am very happy with my treatment.
