"Holiday Knee Injury"

About: Cromer Hospital

On 9/8/17 whilst on holiday on the Broads I fell getting off our hire boat and hurting my knee.

After a 5 hour wait for an ambulance which did not arrive even though I was told I was a priority on account of the weather and my age we were advised by the boat yard in Wroxham to attend Cromer hospital.

Thank you to everyone there as I was seen and treated, including an X-ray, in less time than it took to drive to the hospital.

Your staff were kind, helpful and supportive and I was given very good advice as to how I may be able to continue my holiday on crutches on a small boat.

The people of Cromer are so fortunate to have such a superb facility when many others like it are being closed,

Thank you again and well done.
