"GAU big thanks to the staff"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology

I was admitted to gynecology assessment unit LRI, for laparoscopy due to possible ovarian ectopic pregnancy, due to my situation and other family circumstances, the whole experience was very hard and upsetting, I had no family with me and I went through all this by myself, that's why I wanted to thank the staff on that shift 07/08/17, they were fantastic and very supportive and very nice, the Junior doctor was very attentive and very understanding, the 2 HCAs were very helpful, they stayed with me and were very caring and kept asking me if they can do anything else, I know I can't say their names but please I want them to know that I'm very happy they were on shift as they made my experience less lonely and upsetting.

Thank you again

Dear Mimi,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

We're really sorry to hear that you went through all of this on your own - this must have been a very difficult and scary time for you, but we're pleased to hear that all of our staff were caring and looked after you well during the procedure. If you can remember the names of the HCAs who stayed with you then please email further details to: communications@uhl-tr.nhs.uk, and we will pass your lovely comments on.

We hope you are recovering at home and wish you all the best.

Kind regards
