"Unprofessional staff at the colmans ward"

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was admitted to the col men's ward on Monday for surgery. The care assistant refused to assist me because I was not their patient. Then the morning nurse on Tuesday did not even try to understand what my medical situation is and forced me to take the medication of their choice and then lectures me about self medication options.

It's a pitty when doctors and senior clinical staff are excellent and dedicated, the staff nurses and carer assistants are right the opposite.

I wanted to complain, spoke to the ward Clark and a senior nurse but no one was interested as they know what quality of patient care they provide. Very disappointed
