I was taken into hospital by paramedics that acted as if I was wasting their time. Told to sit on a stool in A&E while I waited for a cubicle. This would probably be okay but I was anemic, had low blood count and was suffering with extreme dizziness and vertigo. No help was given by the paramedics to help me with my walking, which was unsteady.
The A&E staff on the other end, were friendly, kind and caring. It turned out I wasn't wasting time and had to stay overnight and needed two units of blood and will need a hysterectomy.
I have the greatest respect for Musgrove Park and feel it is one of the best hospitals in the country. I have always been cared for and paramedics have always been caring and compassionate but these two, were abrupt and I felt like I was putting them out.
"Hospital staff good. Paramedics not!"
