Eleven weeks ago I gave birth at Good Hope. The care was excellent, labour ward were all amazing, I was well looked after and they really put my mind at ease. In particular Liz, Paulette and Wendy were really good in calming me and making feel relaxed and dare I say helped me to enjoy the experience.

I felt very safe in their care and they took brilliant care of my husband and myself. Liz was really kind and encouraged my husband to stay the first night on the postnatal ward.

All the staff on ward 4 and ward 5 were very friendly and caring. I have recommended this hospital to my friends and I especially am impressed with the baby boxes university and the fact that this hospital promotes safe sleeping as many hospitals in this area have not yet done this. It is ahead of the rest.

May I firstly congratulate you on the birth of your baby at Good Hope Hospital. Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback about your patient experience, we are very grateful as I am sure life is very busy with a new baby!

I'm so pleased to note that you felt well looked after, and that the labour ward staff put your mind at ease, assisted you to relax and helped you to enjoy the experience.

I will ensure that your feedback is highlighted to our Obstetrics Management Team, as well as the Matron and Head of Midwifery who I'm sure will be delighted to read your feedback too, and ensure that it is highlighted to all of the Midwifery and Clinical Team who work very hard to provide and promote a positive patient experience.

Once again my congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby. I hope my actions are acceptable and thank you again for providing your feedback, it is very important to us.
