"Fracture clinic made my disaster bearable"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Fracture Clinic

(as the patient),

Having broken my ankle in June at Inverclyde Sports Centre in Largs I was amazed how quickly the ambulance arrived and the great care I received, on arriving at Inverclyde Hospital that wonderful care continued with Doctors, Nurses and Consultant.

Mr Broadbent operated on my ankle in the afternoon and by 5pm I was back in the ward done & dusted. I left the following day and have since been back to have boot fitted then staples out and this week was signed off. I am allowed to walk without boot and now just waiting for physio. I cannot praise all of the staff in the fracture clinic enough for making my disaster bearable.

I do hope you let them know how much I appreciate their work.
