I felt like I was held prisoner at Mile End hospital on orders from the Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) by the consultant ‘doctor’. In my opinion they repeatedly lied about why I was being held and fabricated a diagnosis without proper evidence. I felt like I was abused and treated with contempt by the staff on many occasions.
Although I won a tribunal to be released, I have never received any help to recover my life. I have repeatedly asked for details and evidence about what I felt was a fraudulent diagnosis, but I have been refused an answer.
The patient liaison service refuses to help either. The whole trust in my view is corrupt.
By the way, the nature of my insanity: wanting to work.
