What I liked
Having agreed the evening before to not further stress my mother ( a terminal cancer patient) by moving her to a Community Hospital bed . I had informed the ward staff and bed manager that I would be finding a nursing home the following morning.....On arriving the following afternoon to tell them that I had done just that....I was greeted by Ambulance Staff moving her out of the ward....A different Sister had decided to move her when they could not contact me ( I was actually viewing and arranging assessment appointments from the nursing home I had gone to see) ..When I followed on to the other Hospital an hour or so later my mother was in a very distressed state..... The bed might have been required, but ............Compassion I think not....... Who wants to hear complaints like that.........I feel it could be a case of closing ranks...............
