I never thought that I would have to use BEH services, however, after my prelex procedure performed elsewhere, as a very short sighted person with higher post-operative risks, with inflammation, retinal tears and detachment I ended up in BEH and through pars plana vitrectomy and pneumatic retinopexy. It's all very well organised, seamless, nurses were sweet, that's the best word to use here, anaesthetic team before operation was very good and reassuring, all staff I had contact with were caring, well informed, professional. I was extremely happy that one, not many, very caring and experienced consultant led my "case" from the first to the last appointment and through operation, knowing well my case, what was very reassuring to me. I extremely appreciate the great work done on my eyes and final effect when I can finally enjoy good vision, that was probably saved, after mishaps of post prelex, by the very knowledgeable and dedicated consultant. I'm very grateful. It's good to know that one is in good hands in BEH.
They do amazing work.
