"I felt like I'd known her forever"

About: Ayrshire & Arran Community Services / Elderly Community Mental Health Service

(as a service user),

Karen came to see me and she was wonderful, it was great to talk about things with her and realise that they are not my fault.

I felt like I'd known her my whole life and I'd only just met her

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear lupusrn85,

Aw that must have been really reassuring. It makes such a difference when we understand about our health and also when we feel on the same plane as those we come across. Thank you, I am sure Karen will be very pleased to hear how 'at ease' you felt during her visit.

Best wishes,

Eunice
