"Considerate and very compassionate"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Medicine Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I was admitted to A&E RIE with abdo pain. I was kept overnight in the surgical observation area. I was seen promptly and informed I would be going for surgery in the morning. I was transferred to ward 106 and can not praise the staff enough they were kind considerate and very compassionate. I witnessed this happening with other patients too in particular elderly people on the ward who needed a bit more help.

The staff all spoke kindly to these patients and had time to explain things.

I went to theatre where staff there were also very kind and put me at ease as I was scared but didn't want to show it.

I was discharged the following day and all is well
