Last Monday morning I collapsed at work after feeling dizzy and nauseous. I had gone outside for some air and fell on the kerb hitting my face and cutting my lip as I fell!
Friends and colleagues told me I should go to A&E as my heart rate was low and I felt really grim.
My husband came and took me to the hospital, where I was seen straight away and taken to Resus. The care in A&E was outstanding; the doctors and nurses explained everything that would happen and I was treated with such care and attention, even though I kept telling them I'd be fine.
Later on Claydon ward, the cardiology Doctors were so thorough and the staff superb.
Nothing was too much trouble. I was monitored for the day and overnight. A lovely lady came to do an echo or scan and she was so reassuring. Another lady doctor from the Maxillo facial team stitched my lip up. Linda the nurse who looked after me was both caring and professional.
"Thank you to all at Ipswich Hospital"
