"Treatment of how my dad has been messed around..."

Absolutely appalled at how bad the ENT department is run ( I appreciate the nhs has had cut backs but that's no excuse for the worst organisation I've ever known ! ) my dad is pretty much awaiting to be told he has cancer he had appointment booked for Friday 28 th july , then the appointment was brought forward a week to Thursday ( great you may think ) and generally I'd agree except he never got the letter until the Friday ( the day after the brought forward appointment ) he also received no phone call ,so it went down as missed appointment ? Then given another one for Monday 31st July , the following day another letter changing that to late August , then the next following day another letter confirming Monday 31st July ? The next day he finally got a phone call cancelling his Monday appointment as they have over booked ! After a few phone calls from myself I finally got him an appointment for August 11th , my dad is on the 2 week pathway , he can't eat and can hardly swallow and is/ has lost a hell of a lot of weight the way this poor man has been treated is absolutely disgusting you called him to cancel an appointment why couldn't you have called him to let him no it had been brought forward ? Awful!
