Feel so let down by Salisbury antinatal service. After a traumatic birth with my first child at Southampton hospital I was looking forward to a change of hospital with this pregnancy. However lack of care from every department I have so far been in to contact with is dreadful. At 20 weeks I found out that I have a 2 cord vessel, after being dismissed by the sonorgrapgher and told I would be scanned at 32 weeks. I have had no consultant contact or explanation of the complications that could arise. I don't feel that Google is the most informed way to find out about your unborn baby. Finally 32 week scan arrived. I have just left the hospital with no explanation as to the condition, a consultant who can't even introduce themselves and to top it haven't even read my notes and thought I was there due to GD which I don't even have. Frightened for the final few weeks of this pregnancy and fearful of delivery all due to the lack of information of Salisbury maternity services. They may all be qualified but there is a total lack or personal care.
"Poor quality care"
