About: Good Hope Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

My Mom had a serious leg injury while abroad, and on being emergency flown home was first sent to Heartlands.

Because of the extent of her injuries it was decided that the micro surgery had to be carried out at Good Hope Hospital.

They saved her leg.

All the staff were incredibly kind, caring and did their jobs without making anyone feel rushed. The orthopaedic surgeon was brilliant.

The plastic surgeon was one of the most caring surgeons we have ever met, and we will be forever grateful for what they did, and is still now continuing to do.

I can only commend the entire hospital for everything they have done.

What a team.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your mother's treatment at Good Hope Hospital.

It must have been an extremely worrying time for your mother and her family, especially as her injury was sustained whilst on holiday.

It is lovely to read such positive comments and I am very pleased that you feel your mother has received brilliant care from the Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery teams.

I shall forward your posting to the Senior Management teams and ask that it is shared with the staff, as I am sure they will be delighted to read your comments.
