Following raised PSA levels my GP referred me to the Urology
Dept at St George's in
Dec 2016. After monitoring and with the PSA still rising I had a scan and then a biopsy and was diagnosed in April 2017. After more tests I had radical prostate surgery in June 2017. This waiting time was, for me, exactly right for my condition; and should be sustained in the future for other patients,
I cannot over emphasise the professionalism and dedication from the whole Team & the effectiveness of my treatment. In particular, I would cite the attention to detail including very high levels of communication (particularly the briefings about what had happenef and happens next)..
I would also complement the way that my partner was and is included by all staff. Again, this should be sustained in the future.
