So I am 19 years old and have been diagnosed with endometriosis. I have supposedly been on a waiting list for a laparoscopy since November last year. First they ring in Feb saying there is a cancellation in a days time. Unfortunately I could not drop everything in my life and go ahead with the operation. After a month apparently the hospital tried to contact myself and my parent about an appointment neither of us received any form of contact even though prior they used the same numbers to contact us on. A few of weeks later (now in may) I phone the hospital regarding when this operation will be as the consultant on the phone said roughly March time I was then informed that they had taken me off of the waiting list as they tried to contact me and no answer. After not being very happy after waiting for 6 months the person over the phone said they would put me back on that list. Since then I have had no contact. Each time I have been ringing the hospital to be put through to the gynaecology clinic I am sent over to out patients and from there they don't know what to do. Over this period of time I have been to A&E in uncontrollable pain and have been treated with disrespect and seemed to been thrown aside. Overall I am going to be transferring hospitals.
"Disappointed"
