I have had lots of care plans from my Nurse but I was not involved and felt I had no choice but to sign them. Care plans are not helping. My new named Nurse helps me and now involves me in the care plan. My new named nurse is good and cares for me. I have felt bulled by Staff and Patients here picking on me. Taking my stuff of me winds me up. I would like to see things get better here. Change some of the Staff. I would like to go to Newmarket ward as I am not having a good time here at the moment. I do like rock music and magazines.

HI,

Thank you for your honestly. I'm glad you have a named nurse that you feel cares for you. The fact you state you was not involved in the past concerns me and I will discuss this with the Matrons to ensure we audit and identify care plans that have good patient involvement and those that don't, so we can learn form this and improve.

I will also add this to the Patients forum as its important we ask patients if they feel involved in care plans and again improve in areas that don't. As for the bullying, we are planning some sessions around bullying and living with each other. If you do feel at all bullied by staff please make sure you raise this with a staff member that you feel you can trust as we need to know and investigate this. We do not tolerate bullying in any form so its very important you let us know.
