"Ward f65 and children's A&E outstanding for care!"

Where do I even begin what an amazing ward! Now I had wished that I would never have to experience a children's ward as every Mam probably does but after my 5 week old daughter became very poorly that's exactly where we ended up! Our little girl was diagnosed with meningitis 2 weeks ago and we were terrified after turning up in A&E we were rushed through to resus where an amazing team worked on our daughter to get her stabilised we were then transferred to F65 by a doctor and a nurse I mean their care just doesn't stop. We were welcomed onto f65 late at night by yet again outstanding staff not only did they make sure our daughter was comfortable and carried on with the exceptional care they made sure we were too the staff on f65 are angels! They kept our spirits high at one of the hardest times we have ever gone through! They cared for our little girl as if she was their own! a staff nurse looked after us for most of our 2 weeks on F65 and they constantly goes above and beyond for all the patients on the ward As did all the staff. Another staff nurse will forever have a special place in our hearts they're an absolutely fantastic nurse and we will be forever grateful to them for not only caring for our daughter but for picking us up and reminding us that things can only get better and for making the longest days feel that little bit brighter whilst still remaining highly professional. I also have to mention how amazing our consultant and their team are from the start our consultant but 110% into getting our daughter better and on the right treatment I mean every single member of staff are just amazing I honestly can't thank them enough

I'd like to wish that no child would become poorly enough for hospital care and treatm but unfortunately they do so I would highly recommend this ward to every mammy and daddy that has a poorly baby the staff are fantastic at what they do they deserve an award every single day they are the most amazing selfless people I have ever come across we will be forever grateful to f65 staff you really are the unsung angels of the NHS! thankyou each and everyone of you xxx
