I was originally referred to adult psychological therapies in Dundee in 2016, I was then seen by Karen in march 2017.
I felt very distressed and anxious on my first appointment as I was in crisis at this point, Karen quickly calmed me down and done everything within her power to get things in place for me to receive the correct care.
In every appointment I felt very relaxed and able to chat about what was going on for me at the time, she always done everything within her power to support me.
I was referred to a community mental health team as she felt that it was necessary for me to have a different approach and to figure out what was causing these periods of depression and anxiety. I feel so grateful and just can't thank Karen enough for everything she put in place for me as without her I wouldn't be much further, she went over and above to make sure I had adequate support in place before I was discharged and always made me feel safe and comfortable in our sessions. X
